Technology and beauty brand Philips releases a new range of electric toothbrush heads that are designed to provide healthier gums and whiter teeth.

The new ProtectiveClean electric toothbrush head range is part of Philips’ Sonicare brand. They utilise advanced sonic technology to address consumer dental concerns and aim to provide cleaner and whiter teeth.

The available toothbrush head variants are ProtectiveClean 4100 with Optimal Plaque Control, 5100 with Optimal Gum Care, and 6100 with DiamondClean.

“We understand that consumers want to protect their teeth and gums, while also achieving an exceptional clean in between dental visits.”

The 4100 with Optimal Plaque Control is designed to remove plaque, while the 5100 with Optimal Gum Care brush head is claimed to improve gum health, and the 6100 with DiamondClean brush head removes stains for whiter teeth.

Philips’ oral healthcare senior marketing director Alexander Harris said: “At Philips Sonicare, we believe there is always a way to make life better, and that includes offering new, innovative products in our portfolio.

“We understand that consumers want to protect their teeth and gums, while also achieving an exceptional clean in between dental visits. With this new innovation, we are able to provide an effective, at-home solution that can also be easily used on the go.”

The brush heads feature the company’s new BrushSync technology, which notifies users when they need to swap brush head for maximum efficiency.

Customers can buy the toothbrush range online at Amazon.com and at major retailers.
