Reckitt Benckiser launches new variant of Veet in India

Reckitt Benckiser (RB) has launched a new variant of its Veet hair removal product in India.

Called VeetNikhaar, the product features various natural ingredients, including turmeric and saffron, which contain vitamins and anti-oxidants, and are said to have anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties.

Featuring a sandalwood fragrance, the product is designed to remove short hair and provide smoother and brighter skin.

RB’s South Asia health chief marketing officer Pankaj Duhan was quoted by orissadiary.com  as saying: “We are delighted to introduce our new variant, VeetNikhaar.

“It is a rigorously researched product, which has been made to give women smoother and visibly brighter skin. It has been launched keeping the needs and preferences of our consumers in mind.

“Our new variant has been launched with ingredients like turmeric and saffron that Indians know and have been using for centuries to get brighter skin. It is perfect for women looking for something more than just hair removal.”

VeetNikhaaris is currently available in 50gm and 25gm packs across departmental stores and major pharmacists in India.

The product will also be available online on e-commerce websites.
