Sephora launches Perk Hydrating Facial skincare treatment in US

Cosmetics retailer Sephora has partnered with The HydraFacial to launch the Perk Hydrating facial skincare treatment in the US.

Perk Hydrating is a two-in-one service developed to exfoliate and hydrate skin.

The new treatment utilises Perk technology, which claims to loosen dirt, oil and dead skin cells through gentle exfoliation. It requires 30 minutes to complete the process.

Sephora merchandising vice-president Priya Venkatesh said: “All of our services are developed to enhance, demystify or personalise our clients’ experience with beauty.

“The Sephora PERK Hydrating Facial is our first in-store spa grade treatment, powered by our own talented consultants who celebrate beauty each day with our clients.

“By introducing our clients to the right products, based on their own unique skincare concerns and enhanced with a personalised service, we’re able to create an emotional connection, build their trust and celebrate the results with them in one comprehensive offering.”

The facial service is currently available for $75 at more than 100 Sephora stores across the country. A Sephora advisor performs the treatment and suggests product recommendations to the customer.

After the treatment, customers will receive a personalised digital skincare guide with product names and application tips for future reference.
