US-based oral care products manufacturer Splintek is set to release its SleepRight ProRx Custom Dental Guard in select H-E-B stores in Texas and Mexico, as well as on its website.

The dental guard is made of a mouldable thermoplastic material that softens at 60°C to provide a better fit. It also utilises water that is 22°C cooler compared to conventional boil-and-bite dental guards, which reduces the risk of burns.

The dental guard fits by gently pushing the warmed material around the teeth. It also incorporates the molar guide fitting feature, which centres the molars upon biting down.

“The dental guard’s core is an expansion of the company’s bite pad technology,.”

The dental guard’s core is an expansion of the company’s bite pad technology, which is used in SleepRight’s No-Boil Dura-Comfort Dental Guard.

In addition to SleepRight ProRx Custom Dental Guard, the supermarket chain also sells the healthcare company’s Ultra-Comfort, Select-Comfort No-Boil Dental Guards, as well as Intra-Nasal Breathe Aid products.

Splintek, which was set up in 1996, owns and distributes SleepRight and HearRight brands. The products offered include SleepRight Intra-Nasal Vapor Inhaler, Sleep Inhaler, Nasal Breathe Aid, No-Boil Dental Guard as well as HearRight Ultra Soft Ear Plugs.

H-E-B is based in San Antonio and currently operates 400 stores in Texas and Mexico. The retailer has ties with more than 106,000 partners in these two markets and serves millions of customers in around 300 communities.
