Water Pik introduces new portable Sidekick water flosser

US-based personal healthcare producer Water Pik has launched the new Waterpik Sidekick water flosser, a portable oral care device.

Packaged in an ultra-compact collapsible unit, the Sidekick is designed to eliminate concealed plaque between teeth and below the gum line.

Waterpik director Brian Woodard said: “Sidekick will become standard travel gear, just like a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, and shaver.”

Designed to be travel-friendly, the device can be placed in small spaces such as in a drawer, a handbag, a travel pouch or a briefcase.

Developed by the engineers at Waterpik, the flosser is available in three colour combinations such as white with chrome, white with rose gold and black with copper.

The device features five pressure settings with sliding pressure control, a swivel-handled flossing stylus, a dual-function water reservoir and a zippered travel case in charcoal fabric.

More than 70 clinical research studies have proven the product’s ability to remove 99.9% of plaque and prevent tooth decay. It is also said to be 50% more effective than string flossing and reduces the need for future dental treatments.
