Bajaj to acquire anti marks skin care brand NOMARKS

Ozone Ayurvedics is a proprietorship company owned by SC Sehgal. The board of directors of BCL approved the acquisition at a board meeting held in Noida, 22 August 2013.

With the acquisition of these brands, Bajaj enters the INR85 billion (approximately $1.324 billion) large skin care category which grew by 12.1% during FY2013.

NOMARKS which is presently distributed primarily in the chemist channel, gives Bajaj a nice opportunity to increase this distribution to grocers, beauty and cosmetics stores and modern retail which is the forte of Bajaj Almond Drop Hair Oil.

Bajaj Corp has also acquired the NOMARKS trade marks from Ozone UK. The trade mark is registered by Ozone UK under the Madrid Protocol which protects it in 90 countries, and is also registered in another eight countries in SAARC, ASEAN & Middle East /West Asia.

NOMARKS will continue to be manufactured by Ozone Ayurvedics for one year under a Transition support agreement.
