Amerikas to distribute Apivita’s beauty products in US

Amerikas has entered into exclusive distribution partnership to introduce Apivita’s beauty products in the US.

A portfolio of more than 60 natural solutions for the hair, the face and the body will be introduced. These products are claimed to have clinically shown efficacy.

Amerikas is already the US distributor of brands such as Bioderma, Embryolisse, and Benamôr.

It expects to boost its Health & Beauty division with the addition of Apivita brand that is claimed to promote clean, efficient and eco-friendly beauty.

Set up in Athens in 1979 by two pharmacists, Nikos and Niki Koutsiana, Apivita or the ‘life of the bee’ provides natural beauty solutions for the face, body and hair, all manufactured from bee products and plants indigenous to Greece.

The brand’s R&D department develops in-house formulations with ingredients with biological value and organic certified plants.

For the last four decades, it has been blending propolis, honey, beeswax and royal jelly, with plant extracts.

The brand is claimed to create up to 100% natural compositions, with sustainable materials sourcing, safe extraction processes whilst adhering to traceability mechanism.

Furthermore, Apivita is involved in the development and attainment of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development goals.

Since March 2017, Apivita has been a part of PUIG Group, after a strategic agreement between Apivita and the Spanish group which has worldwide presence in fashion, fragrances and cosmetics industries. This deal had guaranteed capital sufficiency for Apivita.
