Perfect adds AR beauty advisor service to YouCam Makeup app

Cosmetics technology company Perfect has updated its YouCam Makeup app with a new augmented reality (AR) beauty advisor in the US.

To provide this interactive service, the company has recruited a team of professionals with extensive retail beauty experience.

Leveraging the brand’s innovative technology, the new service allows customers to have personalised video consultations with beauty experts around the country.

Perfect CEO Alice Chang said: “We are thrilled to officially invite users to experience YouCam’s unique on-demand beauty advisor service.

“This highly interactive feature continues to elevate and enhance the customer beauty journey and revolutionise the traditional beauty consultation experience.”

Customers can receive product recommendations and beauty tips, as well as virtually try out suggested looks using the apps AR function.

In addition, the beauty advisors will help customers to purchase products, adding them to the virtual shopping cart and completing the transaction.

The on-demand beauty advisor service is now available to all US customers in the YouCam Makeup app between 3:00pm and 9:00pm every day.

YouCam Makeup is currently available for free download on the App Store and Google Play.
