Quadpack developes new LED Make-Up Compact

Cosmetics packaging provider Quadpack has developed The LED Make-Up Compact that uses Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology for a makeup pack which is practical.

The UK-based firm’s new compact features directional lighting that helps users to apply the product in darker surroundings, reports packagingeurope.

According to the firm, the new makeup compact is made with the touch technology, which is observed in smart phones, iPads and other touch-activated devices. The LED light is instinctively activated by pressing a soft touch button on the lid.

Cool white light in the compact gives an experience of the product more harmonic than when using the bright light of the average powder room, claimed the company.

The firm said the new compact’s built-in lighting technology offers lot of possibilities, such as, once switched on, a hidden logo or message could be incorporated in the interior that helps the brand owners to keep their target audience engaged.

Quadpack said the compact is designed with energy-efficient technology that has low power requirements, and is mercury free and avoids heat build up.

Devices with LED lighting can be recharged simply by using a USB cable at home, in the office or in outside.

The compact is said not provide abrasive reflections, glare or shadows.
